How do I know what size I need?
That's exactly what the configurator above is for: tell it what you're hosting and how much data you store, and it sizes the server for you with around 30% headroom. And because resizing is one click with no downtime, you're never locked into getting it perfect on day one.
What's included in the managed price?
On Managed, the price bundles your cPanel licence (for up to 5 accounts) and KernelCare, on top of monitoring and server management. Fully managed adds Softaculous Pro and JetBackup, and we run the server end to end. CloudLinux is the one thing that stays a separate, optional add-on. The configurator shows exactly what's bundled versus added.
What if I outgrow my plan?
Scale up CPU, RAM and disk from your control panel in seconds. No migration, no rebuild, no downtime. You only pay the difference, pro-rata.
Should I keep backups on the server?
We recommend off-network backups. Keeping them on the same disk as your live data means a single disk failure could take out both, and they eat into the fast NVMe you're paying for. Off-network storage is cheaper per GB, safer, and frees your server for what it's good at: serving your sites.
Will you migrate my sites, and what if I'm starting fresh?
If you're moving from another host, basic migrations are included free. For more involved moves, particularly Magento, our Enhanced Onboarding is a white-glove service, priced per site, where our engineers handle the whole cutover, testing and go-live with you. Starting fresh instead? There's nothing to migrate, and we'll help you get set up.
Do I get root access?
Root is included on Self-managed and Managed plans. On Fully managed we disable root, so we can run the server for you without unintended changes, which is rather the point of handing it over. If you want to keep root, choose Managed.
Do you manage WordPress, Magento or my other apps?
Our management looks after the server: hardware, OS, the web stack and security. It doesn't extend to managing the individual apps you run, though our team will always go one step beyond to help where we can. For hands-on app work, our Enhanced Onboarding and specialist tasks are available, priced up front.
Could shared or reseller hosting be a better fit?
Sometimes, and we'll tell you honestly. The configurator flags when a managed shared, Magento or reseller plan would cover your workload for less. Choose a VPS when you need root, isolation, a custom stack or many separate accounts.
